Only few months ahead, the Roskilde Festival drops it´s big shadow down on us again. So far, the line-up looks pretty stable and there are several artist to look forward to. Althoug they changed their work police, I am pretty excited about this year´s orange feeling, because the Roskilde Festival usually is something special. Is has the hippie-spirit, where anything goes, the party-spirit, where anything goes and the rough-spirit, where anything goes. So each festival is actually a parade of half nude, drunk danes, who eventuall get killed and//or seriously hurt. In no way is this pessimistic, either is it a reason, not to visit this extraordinary event. I do very much recommend a trip to the Roskilde Festival. Here is what the good people of Roskilde will serve this year:
Friendly Fires – Blue Cassette
The Cure – In Between Days (Bestival Live 2011)
PS. It would be ignorant, not to mention, that again, the Hurricane Festival propably has the best line-up for this year, but who want´s to spend a weekend with a bunch of german students? The great line-up is a harsh redemption for the spirit of this festival, which can not be compete with other big festivals. But it hurts my soul, that I wont be there to see my boy SebastiAn in action. It is a shame.
