I´ve been meaning to post this nearly a year ago, but I never really finished the post. Nevertheless I am just gonna post this now, because I guess it is still kind of relevant. It is about infamous german Deichkind, which latest productions seem to be kind of uncreative and with less “fucked up”/creative beats than earlier years. This may be caused by the tragic and early death of Sebi Hackert, Deichkinds original producer, or just the Deichkind crew growing old? (Check out “Der Mond” from the same album, sounds like they want to move in a different direction, if – if they are going to produce another album…)

In this particular I look at a track from Deichkind´s latest album, where they seem to have been strongly inspired by Mark Ronson´s Bang Bang Bang, which I personally prefer… Nevertheless I guess Deichkind´s golden ages are over, or not? Prost!
