Despite of the enormous events and big hitters crashing the stages all around the world at the moment this post, as my first, is going back to localism and back to our roots. I was out to celebrate an old friends birthday last weekend and beside of meeting long time, not seen friends and drunken chatter till the wee hours the gathering was topped by electronic dance music artist Tristan Fogel who spontanous set up his turntables and accompanied us with smooth danceable beats all night long. Tristan Fogel aka Sören is twisting the music after his taste buds combining style elements from every genre.
By the time he could delight Trackord Records with his work and got released some tracks under their wing. However, his steadily growing number of followers are looking forward to the beginning of September this year when Label Klangkorpus will release his first EP Vogelmutter.
And here are some tracks of this oncoming record, but please remember: it’s not your distorted house party music!
