This is the GDR in the late 80′s. Be witness to the birth of the east-german skating scene, how the pioneers had to fight for their sport and what it stand for. This skateboard documentary tells the story of three GDR aloscents who made the unlikely discovery of this “far away American” sport and tried it out on the tarmac of the crumbling socialistic republic. It will be the epicenter of their last summer in East-Germany and the symbol of freedom in the otherwise so controlled everyday life.
