On thursday I had a musical conversation about a very special danish band. We were thinking about crazy danish bands/artists, and we both thought of an Aarhusiansk guy, who earlier was part of BangBang Brain. It´s Reptile and Retard, which probably not so many of you have heard about – they haven´t even released an album or EP yet. But nevertheless they are highly recogniceable! I saw them on this years Roskilde Festival at Pavillion Junior, which is for up and coming bands, and I wasn´t the only one wanting to see the band live. Everybody had probably heard rumours about, that they are pretty crazy live and so the tent was packed with people all the way out and even further. It is like Denmark maybe is about to get something compareable to the German band Deichkind, which I think internationally is unique.

So well, let´s hope these guys keep their shit together and release something brainfucked very soon. Right now they are supposed to work on their debut EP with english producer David M. Allen who worked together with big artists like The Cure and Depeche Mode.
