Let´s talk about: Dubstep.

Dubstep is old news. Not only since Skrillex, but for a long time, this mixture of 135//145 beats per minut and heavy drops delighted and inspired a lot of people. Ridiculously lot of people to be honost and they don´t seem to fear anything on this, more or less, digital planet: They don´t fear their lack of talent, nor do they fear the sound quality of Youtube, so the most popular video-sharing site if full of dubstep covers//reworks//mixes. A huge part of theese are based on nerd stuff, like phantasy//sci-fi  movies or video games. Of course, this is not unusual. Inspiration always comes with things you pass on a daily base, so it is not any wonder, that even the Microsoft Windows start up sound has it´s own dubstep remix. The kids in our narrow western society are packed with soundtracks, one bigger and more legendary than the other, and it seems, that the popular genre of dubstep is one of the ways to compensate this overkill of music. I think, that the amount of tracks make this mass phenomenon very interesting and I really start wondering about; Who are thoose people and why do they still keep on producing like that -One should think there are enough tracks already-?

Just spending a little time on theese matters brought the following tracks: Enjoy ´em or destroy ´em!

Ephixa – Gerudo Valley Dubstep Remix

Rudebrat – Amadeus

Terrah – Star Wubs (Star Wars Dubstep remix)

KAIM Produce – Dub Fiction (Pulp Fiction Dubstep Remix)

My favourit:

And of course I will not miss the chance to spread the word about Acta. Help us to stop it, or, as so many things, Flenstyle will have to close down soon. And what a scenario that would be…
